When properly installed on your vehicle the Model 40A-HP will provide continuous coverage from 7 to 32 MHz with a 6' whip. The Model 40A-HP gives you low profile like the Little Tarheel II and the larger coil and more power like the larger Tarheels. The lower mast of the Model 40A-HP is 16" in height like the Little Tarheel II but has the 2" coil like the Model 200.
