The SPS-75 Ameritron 75 Amp Switching Power Supply is perfect for Ameritron's ALS- 500M, 500 Watt solid state amplifier. It provides 75 Amps output current continuously! It is tiny (6 1/2W x 3 1/2 H x 10D in.) and lightweight (just 7.8 lbs.) It has less than 100 mV peak-to-peak ripple under 75 Amp full load. Load regulation is better than 1.5% under full load. Has reverse polarity protection, brown out input protection, over-current, over-temperature protection and a thermal-controlled quiet fan. Output Boost steps up the output from 13.8 to 14.2 VDC to compensate for line loss. Input 108-132 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Draws 11 Amps. Can be used to charge a car battery.
