DIP 40 is a rotary dipole for the 40 meter band (7 MHz). It uses the exclusive F.T.L (Folded Top Load) system which reduces the size of the antenna without compromising performance or bandwidth, which therefore mirror those of a full size dipole.
The maximum applicable power has no limits, and the performance is truly excellent. The SWR is less than 1.5:1 over the whole band, like with a fullsize antenna! The antenna is directly coax-fed (via 1: 1 balun or RF Choke) at 50 Ohms.
Requires a medium-duty rotator.
