The mount will accommodate the Icom optional remote head bracket. This package comes with the LM-EXT-01 extension plate with the LM-1201 mic hanger attached. The extension bracket has a 4 hole amps pattern that will line up with the holes in the optional Icom remote head bracket metal plate. If you have an ID-5100 you will need an MBA-2, If you have a IC-2730 you will need an MBA-5 for this mount to work for you. Please note they are not inclued in this package. You can purchase them from an Icom dealer.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

This mounting pedestal is ideal for mobile radio holders, housings, and other devices used by public safety, construction, and utility applications. Formerly an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm by 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). The car seat rail mount is made of strong yet flexible aluminum, and is ideal for service vehicles, trucks, or those who need easy access to their devices but prefer mounting them somewhere other than the windshield or dashboard. Use a socket wrench to install the mount to the car’s seat rail. Loosen the passenger seat track bolt, insert the included seat track bolt bracket (2 different brackets are included for various seat rail configurations), and then retighten the bolt. Bend the 23” gooseneck and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360-degree rotation for exact positioning of the device.
