The CC-1-iHT adapter cable from Heil Sound allows you to convert your Heil ICM or ICMBG Hand Microphone for use with the Icom 705/905 transceivers. The CC-1-iHT adapter cable is 11” in length from end to end.
Start by connecting together the 8 pin female foster connector on the ICM/ICMBG to the 8 pin male foster connector found on the CC-1-iHT. A PTT device such as our FS3 footswitch can be interfaced via the 1/4″ PTT input on the ICM/ICMBG microphone, or you can utilize the square PTT button found on the body of the microphone.
Important Note: The 705/905 does have 3 V bias power turned ON all the time, even if 8v is turned off in the menu settings. This lack of correct voltage has resulted in a false keying issue. Go into your menu settings and then under connectors, make sure bias power 8V is turned ON.
Heil Discontinued Traveler Headsets will also interface with the CC-1-iHT adapter cable for use with the 705/905 models.
The CC1iHT features a 2.5mm plug for the microphone input on the Transceiver and an 8-Pin Foster Male to accept the Icm plug from the microphone.
