Comet CFX-324J - 2M/220/440 MHz Triplexer (No Leads)
The Comet CFX-324J is a compact, all-SO-239 triplexer that lets you run three separate radios - or three bands from a multi-output radio - through a single triband antenna. Designed primarily for base station use, the CFX-324J is built without coax leads so you can position it anywhere in the shack and run your own jumpers between the unit and your radios, keeping your cable routing neat and flexible.
The CFX-324J functions as a set of band-pass filters, simultaneously passing RF in both directions through the common connector while maintaining a high degree of isolation between ports. This makes it useful for several shack configurations.
- TX and RX on three bands simultaneously using separate radios into a single triband antenna
- Splitting the three antenna outputs of a multi-band radio into a single feedline
- Running a single coax up the tower with a triplexer at each end, eliminating the cost and weight of multiple coax runs
All four connectors are SO-239 (Female UHF), making it easy to connect with standard PL-259 terminated jumpers.
